Recentemente, o departamento florestal instalou duas câmeras de gatilho infravermelho no penhasco espiral da Área Cênica de Jinsixia na Reserva Natural Provincial de Xinkailing para registrar os hábitos de vida de animais nacionais protegidos de segundo nível, como goral, faisão dourado, pega azul de bico vermelho, javali e texugos selvagens, tirando fotos e vídeos. Esta é a primeira vez que câmeras de disparo automático infravermelho são usadas para atirar em animais selvagens na natureza.

Xinkailing A Reserva Natural Provincial está localizada no interior das Montanhas Xinkailing, no sudoeste e sul de Danjiang. Fica a 72 quilômetros da cidade e cobre uma área de 14.963 hectares. Ele se concentra na proteção do ecossistema de floresta subtropical de folhas largas do norte e é uma das áreas de distribuição concentrada de espécies raras de animais e plantas nas Montanhas Qinling em Shaanxi.

In últimos anos, mais de 10 pesquisadores florestais do departamento florestal realizaram pesquisa científica e trabalho de monitoramento na Reserva Natural de Xinkailing, adicionando 20 marcadores de limite, enterrando 203 estacas de limite e completando o layout de 20 parcelas de amostra e 10 linhas de amostra; estabelecendo 3 pontos de monitoramento da vida selvagem e construindo um sistema de monitoramento inteligente. Com base nisso, de 12 de janeiro a 19 de março deste ano, a equipe do departamento florestal implantou 17 câmeras infravermelhas de disparo automático na natureza na Reserva Natural de Xinkailing para melhorar o monitoramento e o nível de proteção dos animais na reserva, especialmente os animais protegidos nacionais.

De acordo com a descoberta de muitas fezes gorais, o número de gorros na reserva deve ser relativamente grande. Nos últimos anos, com a implementação de projetos como o Projeto Tianbao e o Projeto de Restauração da Vegetação de Proteção Ecológica Qinling, a vegetação e o ambiente ecológico da reserva foram restaurados, proporcionando um bom ambiente de vida para os animais selvagens. O número de populações de animais selvagens continuou a aumentar, indicando que a biodiversidade da Reserva Xinkailing foi protegida e animais selvagens raros podem sobreviver e se reproduzir bem na reserva.
